I'd like to try different nail places just to see what they offer and this one was close to my workout gym so I stopped in. They accept walk- ins and appointments. The decor was a bit outdated, but they did a pretty good job and seemed to be more reasonably priced than some other places I've been in louisville. The technician that did my dip actually talked to me about different options and explained certain things to me, which i felt like i don't really get other places. It took the normal amount of time as a regular nail appointment and i was seated in less than 10 mins. I actually chipped one nail a few days after as I was refinishing a dresser and walked back in and they fixed it immediately -no questions asked & free of charge! i will likely be returning.

I went to get a pedi/mani on Saturday November 19. I've been coming to this salon for over 11/2 years and am a regular. I'm a size 14 now. There's an reason why I'm telling you my size.
I sat down and my pedicure nail tech was super sweet. However, the bail tech with a pink sweater (unsure what her name was) stated to me , miss Susan you are fat, you have gained a lot of weight since last time. ( actually I hadn't, maybe 5 pounds since last visit). I stated to her that she was rude and unprofessional. I stated I have a torn ligament in my left leg and it is painful to walk. I'm trying to eat right and exercise. However. It's none of your business. She was quiet for like 10 minutes. Then said loud enough for everyone to hear. Miss Susan you will have to eat very light until Thanksgiving and don't eat to much on Thanksgiving.
I was shocked. Yes I've gained more weight than what I wanted. However it is unprofessional for her to say this in an establishment in front of all the clients.
I'm trying hard to get back to a size 10.
It really hurt my feelings and made me mad.
The owner was there and did not say a word to me. I'm seriously thinking of taking my business elsewhere. I can only imagine if someone that was larger than a size 14 what they would say to them.

I've been looking for a new nail place, and went for the first time last night. I had a great experience! It took 50 minutes to do an acrylic fill with gel polish and design. She gave exactly what I asked for and came up with the design on the spot.
This is the most affordable place I've been to in Louisville, and I appreciate the attention to detail. It's not the most glamorous environment, but I love my nails! I will be returning!

Scheduled an appointment with specific nail artists for my manicure and pedicure due to reading great reviews for them and was dished off to another person for both services without warning. Asked the artist I got to be more firm. She smiled and continued to rub like she was almost afraid to touch me. Will mot be back.
