General Hospital’s Comings and Goings for June
John J. York is back to GH!
John J. York has returned to General Hospital, taping new episodes as Mac Scorpio.
General Hospital’s Twitter account shared a photo of the actor with Felicia (Kristina Wagner) and Cody (Josh Kelly). The actor is back on Wednesday, June 19.
On September 7, 2023, York shared an update about his health on his social media platform.
The news was that he had to take time off to undergo treatment for myelodysplastic syndromes and multiple smoldering myeloma (two blood and bone marrow disorders).
He took chemotherapy treatments and found a blood donor match for blood stem cell transplant as part of his treatment.
Now that he’s back, will it finally come out that Cody is Mac’s son?

Perez Hilton
It looks as though blogger and podcaster Perez Hilton is to debut on General Hospital, according to the ABC show’s Twitter and Threads feed.

Devon Ogden makes an appearance on GH on June 7 as Barb when she picks up Finn (Michael Easton) at Brown Dog Bar, and later, he takes her back to his place. That’s where Liz (Rebecca Herbst) finds them.
Joshua Triplett
Joshua Triplett was seen as Marv the engineer in the Wednesday, June 6th episode of General Hospital and Thursday June 7th.
Triplett was in scenes with Blaze (Ali) Jacqueline Grace Lopez, and Eva LaRue (Natalia).
The actor took to Instagram saying, “The secret is out!! I was added to the cast of@generalhospitalabc for two episodes. Ladies and gentle meet MARV. All my aunties told me they saw me lol”

General Hospital’s Comings and Goings for May
Gregory Harrison exits GH
Gregory Harrison’s last day as Gregory Chase was on Monday, May 20.
His death scene was him in bed, thinking about his life before he fell asleep.
Harrison took over the role of Gregory in 2020, a role originated by James Read, who began portraying the character in 2018.
Sequoia and Serenity Mork Macko
Sequoia and Serenity Mork Macko are twins who share the role of Amelia, Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and Michael’s (Chad Duell) daughter.
Giovanni Mazza cast as Brook Lynn’s cousin
Giovanni Mazza joins General Hospital the week of May 13 in the role of Giovanni Cerullo. Giovanni is BLQ’s (Amanda Setton) cousin who attends her wedding to Chase (Josh Swickard).
Mazza will be playing the violin at the wedding.
Congressman McConkey’s role taken by Sam McMurray
Sam McMurray joins General Hospital as Congressman McConkey on May 3, 2024.
McMurray is remembered most recently from his 2022 stint on Young and the Restless as Dwight, he’s been in Devious Maids, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, Scandal, Batman: The Dark Knight Returns Part 1, Desperate Housewives, Grey’s Anatomy, and various other TV shows and movies.
Tristan Riggs is the new Aiden
Tristan Riggs takes over the role of Aiden Webber on General Hospital.
Juliet Donenfeld temporary recast
Look for Juliet Donenfeld on May 3 episode of GH.
She will be portraying Lily Fisher, Maxie and Spinelli’s daughter, Georgie.
Lane Davies to GH in a Santa Barbara reunion
Lane Davies joins General Hospital as Fergus Byrne, a lawyer who will be in scenes with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn).
Expect Davies to first be seen during the week of May 22.
Oddly enough, this isn’t Davies first time on GH. He was Dr. Cameron Lewis from 1983 to 2003 as Kyle Davies.
The actor also did a short stint as Ridge Forrester in 1992 on Bold and the Beautiful after playing Evan Whyland on Days of our Lives from 1981-1982.
Those who watched Santa Barbara will remember him as Mason Capwell who played opposite Nancy Lee Grahn in the 1980s when Grahn portrayed Julia Wainwright.
Davies has also been seen in various primetime TV shows such as 3rd Rock From The Sun, Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, Supernatural, The Practice and Scrubs.
Adam Huss makes his way back to ABC
Adam Huss will be returning to General Hospital on Monday, April 29th as Nikolas Cassadine when Ava (Maura West) seeks him out in prison and confides in him.
Nicholas Chavez
Nicholas Chavez exited General Hospital on January 31 when Spencer Cassadine was killed off, falling overboard from a boat into the Seine in Paris while with Trina.
Chavez’s leave was supposed to be 3-months long but is now permanent and there is no word of any recast at this time.
The actor left to star in the second season of Netflix’s anthology, Monster.
Chavez will portray one of the Menedez brothers.
According to TV Line, “GH does not intend to bring in a new actor to portray Spencer while Chavez is away.”

I live across the country now. I was driving my dad’s old Jeep and now, I’m sitting in a car that I paid for. This show has given me the opportunity to become my own guy. George Russo will join General Hospital as Carmine Cerullo.
Carmine looks to be Brook Lynn’s (Amanda Setton) grandfather.
Taping for Russo begins April 15 and his debut in Port Charles is May 15.
It’s most likely he is coming to town for BLQ and Chase’s (Josh Swickard) wedding.
