    Popped by the LinkedIn HQ this morning to hear how brand awareness and brand building is the foundation to anything, especially lead generation.As a brand, how do you go from being; ❌ Unknown❌ Unclear❌ Unmemorable To;✅ Recognised✅ Relevant ✅ Recalled It’s how you tell your story, either through your people or brand. Evoke emotion, humour, creativity and that marketing buzzword, authenticity. For me, it’s about showing up. Be pro-active, online and consistent to ensure you are front of mind. 💭 Anything else to add gang..?

    What’s the best that could happen!?So much useful knowledge to digest from last weeks SocialDay event. My biggest take away; “What’s the best that could happen?” The brilliant Nick Entwistle sharing this anecdote that made me think we are almost too caught up with the risk, the fear or the worst of a situation. That we forget what the best possible outcomes could be.I had to steal this photo from the wonderful Fab Giovanetti who I joined on stage with Xandrina Allday to talk social content, which was a pleasure.This is more than a photo, it encapsulates a community buzzing with positivity all sharing a passion for marketing and to helping one another out.     What I learned from CONNECT CMO UK. 📚Listening to some of marketing's best such as; Mohamed Zohny, Tim Anderson (MSc), Justine Cullinan, Irem Alp Mainwaring, Jasper Martens, Andrea Monaci, Laura Ferrari, Gordon Glenister and others was insightful and inspiring! ✨Key takeaways were:🤖 AI is here, there and everywhere. Get onboard or get left behind basically.📝 Storytelling is what should from the basis of our content. This might sound obvious and simple but what does storytelling mean to you and your brand and how does that apply to different channels who may have different audiences and consume content differently.✅ Social proof. Showing you are credible and your worth through the people and brands you serve and help. Nothing is stronger for consumers than advocacy from your community. Even more so for B2B brands. Case studies, testimonials, these may sound old school but as marketers it's up to us to deliver these through various creative formats that helps grab attention.Over and out. 🫡#socialmedia #marketing #cmomarketing
